joy of love... the clarity of hatred... and the ecstasy of grief. It hurts sometimes more than we can bear. If we could live without passion, maybe we'd know
some kind of peace. But we would be hollow. Empty rooms, shuttered and dank... Without passion, we'd be truly dead.
God I love this show. Second season is so much better than the first. First season has it's episodes, but over all, it can be skipped and only a few jokes in the show would be missed. (Xander and the whole bug thing is funny, but let's say I'm really interested in the big issues rather than the small paranormal experiences.) I suppose though, I wouldn't be as thrilled about the character Angel if I hadn't seen him progress into what he is now. *school girl scream*
I'm still going to rope a few people into watching it though, so I can talk to someone about the show. The vampires in the second season have better characters in than in the first. Just the fact that vampires show up more in the second season makes it better.
