Summer Time / Random Thoughs
Well it's been a while since I've given any sort of significant update, so here we go.
Summer and life in general are fantastic. I've been working at my Dad'd print shop, catching, sorting, and packaging Tshirts. It's slightly mind-numbing, but it's easy, everyone who works there is cool, and I can pretty much get whatever time off I want.
Speaking of time off, Jamie and I are going to Maine on Saturday. We're staying with his family in Keenebunk Port which is where the Bush mansion is. Don't worry, I'm going to flip it off everytime I drive by!
Hey emo kids: please, PLEASE kill yourselves like you always say you're going to do. (Or cheer the fuck up, perhaps?) My family is lower-middle class, sometimes we barely make enough to get by, and college has ME almost $50,000 in dept. I can't afford a car, a lot of clothes, and other shit. But if I can get be merry and content pretty much all the time, so can you.
My family's new dog is simply THE SHIT! Since I was little I always wanted a German Shepherd or some fancy purebred. But the more friendly mutts I meet, the more and more I like them. Mom and I took Yogi to the dog park for the first time last night and it pretty much solidified my preference for mixed breeds.
Why? All the purebreds at Callahan had one annoying hereditary habbit or another ('cept the Irish Wolfhound). There was a labrador that pulled on the leash like crazy, a basenji that was so aggressive its owners had to keep it leashed, a rat terrier that was ugly as fuck and attatcked all the other dogs, a pitbull that snapped at anyone who got between it and its tennis ball, and a beagle that took off from its owner and spent an hour standing in front of a rabbit whole and barking.... meanwhile all the mutts played together in a big pack of happy. Sorry breed fans, but I'm changing teams.
