First Watch Review/Reaction: 12x18 The Memory Remains
I haven't done one of these for a long time but here goes. Just a couple of quick thoughts.
I don't know about anyone else, but I found "Goat-dude" to be actually really creepy. Between the angles and the lighting and the background music, the whole episode was brilliantly spooky.
I got a good laugh at the "Hunting people, killing them, the family business," line and Dean's reaction to it.
I hate the BMoL. Hate, hate, hate. I was just starting to find Mick okay, and then evil Ketch offed him. Evil, evil Ketch. I hate them for what they did to Sam, their black/white approach to hunting, their sneakiness and lying. Ugh.
There were some lovely brotherly moments; all the little looks and smiles and goofing off, Dean attempting to eat Sam's salad-y breakfast, Sam coming to Dean's rescue and Dean just collapsing on the floor now that he's safe, carving their initials onto the table!!! Just so lovely.
That's fine, because we left the world better than we found it, you know. *hearts all over it*
Right, now I'm off to try get some sleep. I feel like I've been running on coffee and adrenaline this week and the weekend is going to be worse lol
