7 April 2017 (aka four weeks and one day until AHBL8!)
When looking at hotels, besides being affordable and reasonably nice, it also had to be pretty close to a park so Sparkie (my assistance dog) could have grass to toilet on before we start the day, and preferably within walking distance to the convention as I don't handle public transport very well. That ruled out a lot of places, but I finally found and booked a suitable hotel - the Pensione. I think a few other con-goers are also staying there so that will be nice.
I'll be getting into the city about 3:30pm on the Saturday, for the concert, doing the convention on Sunday. And then heading home on Monday afternoon.
Meanwhile the Supernatural watch continues. I found season 11 a little flat so I was apprehensive about this season, but so far it hasn't disappointed me.
