Can Anyone Shed Some Light On This?

Okay so right now I'm kinda stuck. I realized that I have an audition this weekend and I didn't know when it was. So I e-mail crazy Mike fay to find out when the Fiddler auditions were, he quickly e-mails me back saying that they couldn't get the rights for Fiddler because of the tour it is///will be going on. What are they doing instead, you might ask? Well none other than Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Oh boy! ::rolls eyes:: So heres the problem. This is basically a guy show, yes there are women parts (i.e. the narrator) but very few other than ensamble roles. So I still want to audition because I'm guessing they'll be changing the show once they figure out the male to female ratio (We had to double up male roles). So do I audition and hopefully beat out thirty women for a role or get shoved into an ensamble (which I really don't mind). But would it be worthit? I would be adding on another show to my steadily growing list of shows for this spring and it would be countless hours of long rehearsals for very little time on stage. I love the people but....is it worth it? I guess I could chalk it up to experience...
