Are You on a Scavenger Hunt? Or Do You Guyses Just Like Dinosaurs?
So basically my life got thrown up in the air last Tuesday and now things are starting to fall back into place. Also because I missed both Thursday and Friday I feel like tomorrow should be Wednesday and not Monday, which is a bummer.
Thursday and Friday consisted of wakes and a funeral. Suprisingly, it was a lot more fun than what one would think. I met my father's childhood friend, Carmine. And he almost asked me out, I kid you not. Basically he is a 40-something who is broke, jobless, reecently divorced, homeless (he would've moved in with his parents but his little brother beat him to the house) oh and he almost cut his finger off doing 'a favor for a friend'. We didn't ask what the favor was. And what made matters even more great the priest looked like Mike Myers doing a skit about a priest on Saturday Night Live, bad wig and all....
This weekend was fun though! It was the Walk For Diabetes and well as the titles suggests, sooo much fun! Actually it wasn't as bad as it has been in the past years so that was a plus. We did have some unexpected guests but the concert was great (I got to sing on the Hatch Shell!). Oh and I met my husband who I have been stalking for the past two years I call him Donny Osmond, but really his name is Doug something-or-other and he does the traffic for Fox Morning News. I don't know why I love him but I do.
So I probably should start doing make up work. I have an audition tomorrow... Oh and Ben I'm sorry that I haven't been around to help you move the dog house, but pick a day you're not busy and we'll move it.
