New icons! Well...Maybe not that new, a few of them have been done months and months ago, but I decoded to put them here anyway.
Just a few days ago I realized that I haven't done even one HIM releated icon! Gah! How bad of a person can I be, particularly now when HIM released

Why yes ^^ I do. Although I must say, I agree with you on the Hellsing thing, even though I am a Hellsing fan. I much prefer the OVA's and the manga. The original anime adaptation was pretty bad. As for VHD, I loved it. I have the movie on Google video, as every time I tried to buy it, it had just sold out. I would love to get the artbook, but it's so expensive at the place I buy my Japanese stuff. I heart Carmilla's awesome hat! XD I have a habit of making myself broke by writing huge list of things I want and slowly ticking them off one by one. I must say, I find it very amusing that you put Gackt up there with the vamps XD He's totally like a Japanese Lestat. (yes, I read the Chronicles) I just got the Vampire Knight manga (first volume) and I've been trying to track down another manga that looks a little interesting called Bloodhound. Have you heard of it? Admitedly, I find that a lot of movies go overboard and start to make vampires look cheesy. But I have a soft spot in my heart for Moon Child, Queen of the Damned (they ruined the plot, but I still like it) and Dracula 2000 (don't shoot me! *ducks*>.<)

Yay! a fellow vampire fan! :D There are too few of those, honestly, I know none so there's really no one to share my interest with :'( Why does it feel like I have said that before too..?
I have seen only the anime version of Helling. I have so many times had the first manga volume in my hands and have been about to buy it, but...Somehow I have always put it back on its bookshelf...But maybe some shiny day I will finally buy it..! I really hope you get your own copy of the VHD Bloodlust! When I bought mine, it looked like it was the last one the shop had and it probably was cause I haven't seen them selling them anymore after that. Have you seen the "behind the scenes" extra? It's not that special, but it´s always fun to see what the voiceactors look like. Usually, they look totally dofferent from what you had imagined! And I have to say, I totally love D's voice in Bloodlust; when after a pretty long time I watced the movie again and heard his voice, it just made my heart stop and melt...xD And when I got to see what the actor behind that voice looks like...My heart melted again! <3
And now I'm kinda rereading the D novels andand I can't wait till we get to know more about D's past or more importantly, about his family. And his old man...! Though D being his beautiful hot self (why the heck am I saying that about a fiction character? Must be the drawing of Amano...*drools*), "old man" is rather wrong thing to say about his dad I quess. I hope. I mean, how could D's father be some white beared, bald and wrinkled old man..? (that's the image I get every time someone uses the word "old man" though I know they don't mean it literally) Arg! I'm just dying to find out more about him! (have you read the novels? Just asking cause I don't want to spoil the fun from you xD)

Isn't Bloodhound Kaori Yuki's manga? If yes, then I have heard about it but not read it :( So they did put it out in english? Great! I definitely have to find it! :D But even though it isn't Yuki's manga, as long as it has vampires in it...<3
Hehehe...Last summer they showed this one british series on TV... It was about a teenage vampire boy who wanted to be a normal boy and it started as he and his family, big sister and dad [count dracula! xD They really ruined that name with that foolish father act, but he...kinda was so cute ..! What the heck am I saying..?>_<] move from Transylvania (spelling...) to England, the boy goes to school and there's this one weird kid wanting to be a vampire and...need I say more? xD Sad but amusing though and it had vampires, so...<3
Umm, I really haven't watched any vampire movies...I would love to, but I don't know where to start! So if you have any good ones you know, then please tell me! ^_^ (And that being the case, I haven't seen that Dracula 2000 you mentioned, so I really don't know the reason to shoot you, but I quess it's a real bad movie, probably some remake of some old movie, no?)

*sigh* We are a dying breed, I'm afraid. I really hope I can get the DVD too, its very desired. I am planning to buy one of the novels pretty soon, it looks really good! D's vd is pretty you say? Wonderful! I love it when they turn out to be pretty...I always get disappointed when I find out its a chick or an old guy. I agree with you though; D is very hot. For an animated character...very.
Bloodhound isen't in english yet, but I read some of it on Mangavolume, and it looks wonderful. Really nice...
They have beaten poor Vlad Dracul's name into psuedo-cheesiness, which is awful, cause Dracula is such a classic. I think everyone on the planet has heard of him... I'm still trying to get my Dracula book back from a friend, she keeps re-reading it!
I still have to read/watch Blood+, but I've already started watching Trinity Blood, and I've seen quite a bit of Vampire Princess Miyu (I hated the English dubbing soooooo much. They ruined her voice! But, they always do...)
Have you heard about the new tv series'yet? The Blood Ties and Moonlight ones? I'm worried they might be a little too much like Angel...I loved that show...
As for good movies...have you seen Moon Child? If you are one of the few Gackt fans that have not, do so. Hyde and Gackt are such incredibly hot vampires, and its my all time favourite movie...it made me cry. Lost Boys is sort of okay...Underworld is pretty good, even if it gets hard keeping track of all the new species that keep popping up. Van Helsing is nice, even if Richard Roxborough is a little old looking. Dracula 2000...one of my favourites because it doesn't try to make vampires look cheesy. If I had said Dracula 3000, you should have shot me; one of the worst vampire movies ever made. Don't watch it.
The original Dracula is really good. I recommend it.

You said it :( Unfortunately, I belong in too many dying breeds...x) You definitely have to buy at least one of the novels, but eventually you must buy them all! :D They are just so damn good, I was in heaven when I heard the novels were being translated into english! But the third volume was kind of a shock; it's the one that Bloodlust movie is based on and they are quite different from each other. I remember writing about it but that was one of the entries I made in Tokyopop's site (I haven't used that place for ages, not after I created an account here. Maybe I should copy that entry here too...I ranted about VHD for few entries worth xD) Yeah, but the image I have of a hadsome man can be quite different from yours! xD I really think D's voice actor is quirte handsome indeed, and his voice just melts your heart...<3 Heh, it's quite confusing when you learn that an old woman is playing the part of a little girl or a girl is going the role of a boy...x)
I did find some chapters translated, bt since it wasn't the whole volume, I decided to not read it; it's quite irritaiting when you can just read the half of the story...-_- *coughCLAMPcough*
Blood+? The name is familiar, and if we are talking about the same series, its opening(or ending) is amazing! My friend made listen to it and it rocks! ^_^ O loved the singer's voice. I recommend you read Trinity Blood's manga version, too, and the novels, after all, they are the original versions. I have watched the anime about 13 episodes, but after getting familiar with the manga and novels, I kinda gave up of watching it; they have changed so many things taht I really can't hanhle it anymore xD But I love the opening and ending! Hearing the Dress opening is why I got into Buck-Tick's music, the band is amazing! <3 Blood Ties and Moonlight? I haven't heard about those series. Did they start recently? And can't say anything about Angel cause I haven't ever watceh it, though the name is familiar. x)
Moon Child...xD Yes, I'm one of the Gackt fans who hasn't seen it... You see, there was this one fanvideo made of that movie that kinda scared me away from watching the movie, so...But I'm now kinda over it so I would love to see it! It has Gackt and Hyde in it so...<3 But the problem is getting a copy of that movie, I'm kinda broke right now...:(
I went to one webstore which specialites in movies and put "vampire" in the searc field, and it gave me so many results that now I definitely have a hard time with choosing! xD Dracula 3000 was in there, but I quess I will pass it xD But thanks for the tips! I think I will go for the original Dracula for startes.
