So here's the thing. I'm so sick and tired of hearing people complain about things that they have no control over, and things they do. First of all, if they are complaining about something they have no control over then they have no control over it anyway, so get over it. Second of all, if they have control over it, then change whatever it is they are complaining about! I know I complain about stuff but then I realize that some stuff is just not in my control and the things that are can be changed by me.
One thing that I can understand is complaining about other people. Other people can get on your nerves more than anything else. There's this one girl in my class that twirls her hair nonstop and it is the most annoying thing ever! One of my friends in the class and I were talking about it one time and apparently I am not the only one who finds it annoying.
Another thing that really makes me annoyed in every way possible is selfish people. I know I've written a journal about this before, but come on. There's always more to say about this. Selfish people suck. That's all there is to it. Everyone can be selfish sometimes but some people who think that everything around them is for them and the entire world revolves around them is just rediculous. Do people really think that other people care about them that much. Sometimes the only reason I listen to selfish people rant is to see how rediculous their rant is. Purely for entertainment, not for sympathy or empathy. That may be selfish in itself, but isnt every action anyone does for selfish gratification? That's more philosophy talking though.
Anyway, just thought I'd get that off my chest. I needed a place to vent otherwise I wouldnt be able to hold it in any longer.
Now maybe I'll go out tonight... tomorrow is back to Milwaukee and on to Green Lake for my aunt's Baby shower!!
Oh yeah, got a call from Joe Boehlke today. Back from Iraq all safe and sound. It was good to hear from him again. And my cousin is pregnant, yay. So, it's been a good week all in all besides the rush of classes and the eternal threat of midterms.
