Saturday night was uneventful up until about 11:30- we went to koot's early for dollar beers, and the vibe just wasn't right. We left about 11:00 and I was headed home for an early night when Stephanie called me, saying she was at the aiport. I flipped a U-bitch and headed to go get her. We stopped at hayden's house and picked up him and Ben. We then went to asia gardens so I could sing my little <3 out. I delivered a smashing performance of "Total Eclipse of the Heart" (as usual) but felt I gave it a little extra panache this time ;) I was tempted to do the rockstar knee-slide, but I wussed out.
Ben's training is going well, and they're releasing him into the wild tomorrow.... Sending him to Denali for his first day in Anchorage. I think he'll do great- but it'll be a test of my training abilities. I have faith. I know he'll pick up my training slack with his abundance of charisma and skill.
We went to go see Harold and Kumar go to White Castle last night, I was pleasantly suprised. The evening was going just swimmingly until I fell victim to the infamous "popcorn trick." Ben was more amused than I was. Penis jokes aside, the movie was a lot funnier than I expected, and I enjoyed myself. It was a nice quiet evening with my hunny, which I think I needed after all the week's crazyness.
