recycling books delivery cardboard envelopes
What to do with all those big sturdy envelopes that bring awesome books from Amazon and bookdepositary? I kept them all aside until I had the right idea. As now we are into practicing shapes and colors with my 2-year old Nateep, I cut the shapes out of the envelopes, keep them in one box and practice together with Melissa&doug classic shape sorter:
Initially I thought to use all the same colors as in the toy, but Nateep started "helping" me out with painting and it came out a fun new activity, whenever we paint I always use shapes' names and say something like "Let's paint a square now", he tends to repeat after me, he has nearly learnt all the names in Russian except for "rectangle" which is a bit of a difficult in pronunciation, even for adults)))
