Dear Diary
this week I have achieved a few records:
1 I started the week at the gym at 76.8kg, which is a new personal low for weigh out purposes (I weigh myself after each visit on the way to the showers). Mind you on Wednesday I weighed out at 77.4kg so parts of me were trying to ensure that a possible food deficit wasn't permanent.
2 Achieved the same 500m interval time for the 5,000m and 2,000m rows on Monday of 1:52.4 (18:44.2 and 7:29.6, respectively). Was only mildly puffed - for variable units of mild.
3 Wednesday achieved a new record time over 2,000m of 7:09.2 and then spent the rest of the session wondering why I had been so keen to wear myself out so. Rediscovered the presence of phlegm in the bronchial passages as an after effect.
4 Saw the doctor this morning (normally six-monthly check up, so visit planned) and had a blood pressure of 110/65 i.e. low. This explains why standing up at the office can result in very grey vision.
5 Got a pretty graph on my weight curve from the doctor. He was happy with my efforts.
Now for a stroll in the sunlight.
