Just mail my rent check to Target

2 more days until those dreaded senior portraits.
3 more days until the LITTEL family reunion. Imagine my excitement. (Sense the sarcasm?)

Ya know, in ALL honesty, the reunion shouldn't be that bad. I haven't spent more than an hour or so max with my extended family since Easter back in April. My baby's going to be there, so if all else fails, I'll pull her away and take her to the swimming pool. She'll like that. Hell, I shouldn't really refer to her as a baby. She's FOUR already. She went and grew so damn old on me. So did everyone else.

The only reason I say that is because so much has gone on/changed in the past four years. I truly think it would be nice to be four again. Those were the days. Easier said than done though. There's all of the reflections that begin with *if only I knew then what I know now.* But life isn't meant to be that simplistic. That would make things just too damn easy, and no one would ever learn from their failures and their triumphs.

No need to be so damn pensive. Everyone else can produce a cheery LJ entry, so why should I break that trend? I'm honestly not that down at the moment. It's been a good week so far, give or take the fact that it's only Tuesday. Besides, See Yee just made my night.

Po R R04: i promise first thing i'll do next time i see you is give you a big hug

I think I need one of those. My stylist may need one too after she sees how much damage I've done to my hair this afternoon. ::ducks:: Oh well. She'll fix it, and I'll be on my way. Otherwise I have just a little bit more shopping to do before my appointment on Thursday, and I'm good to go.

More updates later today. Sleep comes first.

My heart goes out to Kellie and the rest of her family for reasons that don't need to be discussed. I love you hun, and you guys are all in my prayers. You know just as well as I do that his little baby snake tail is wagging wherever he is.
