Guess who earned 78-1/2 points out of a possible 80 points on her "History and Structure of the English Language" midterm? Why, that would be me, silly rabbit! I can't believe it myself, but I have it in writing. AND I didn't screw up the Grimm's Law chart so apparently I know it better than I thought. I guess miracles happen after all.
In other news, I'm ready to take my current writing assignment (argument essay on high-stakes testing) and shove it up my professor's nose. If my writing really sucked that bad, I wouldn't have made it out of freshman comp 14 years ago. Oh well, we all have our crosses to bear.
I have a new student starting Friday and another starting (hopefully) next Tuesday... yeah for more money!
