Things will get done
The house is coming along, slowly but surely. 98% of the floor is ripped up (still a bit in the hallway to do...its the crappiest part) the wood walls are painted and i am currently staining the wood for the bookshelves which we hope to install soon as well.
We bought our laminate too! It is a dark cherry colour. Even though not everyone is convinced about the colour, paul and i are going to love it and thats all that matters. I plan to decorate my house around the colour of the floor.
So besides renovating, paul and i have also been working alot. I am also involved in a few music related things for december so i definitely have a busy schedule coming up. Not that i already haven't been busy enough!
I'm just too tired to do much after i get home. I usually just want to relax, play games, read.
Christmas music started a work today. *shudder*
So the jewellery counter makes me crazy sometimes, but i'm dealing with it. It's the middle aged women who spend their husbands money and tap the glass. They make me crazy. I'm not a fish. Don't treat me like i was just born to serve your every whim. I don't care if you are spending money, i will still treat everyone the same.
Oh! i almost forgot. We bought a new stove because ours was about to kick the bucket. It's a sweet stove. I can tell i'm getting older when i am excited for a new appliance and new floors.
I can't wait until this is all done! We can have our house back. It will be clean, finally. o_o
Almost all of the christmas shopping is done. 3 more gifts i think. Then we are home free. I didn't even have to use the christmas fund we started. Heh.
I work tomorrow morning so i should get to bed...
