The cosmos has blown some goodluck dust this way. Or maybe it's just me.
I put in my notice at smartset today. I wrote a letter 2 days ago and i was supposed to give it to sharron today at work. The best thing ever was seeing michelle working instead of sharron. wow. Although i feel bad for michelle because sharron made her go in place of her even thought michelle had booked that day off. Still! I did not have to confront sharron directly. I left my letter in the back for her to read. This way she will have a few days to let it soak in before i see her. I know i am leaving at an inconvenient time but it really needed to be done now. I needed to think about myself for once at this job and i think it's for the best.
I will be working more hours at winners at the new jewellery counter. yay! It opens september 21st i think in case anyone wanted to know. We've had lots of people asking us about it.
Today was also awesome because paul bought me the birthday present i asked for. An mp3 player!!! I am now the proud owner of a shiny lime green sony 1GB mp3 player. so sweet.
When we were at the mall together it dawned on both of us. When was the last time we got to spend some time together like this? I am always shopping alone or when i am at work and paul hasn't been shopping in a long time. We enjoyed some time wandering the mall then he took me out for an early birthday supper! Boston pizza of course. I like the spicy italian penne. I don't remember the last time we ate out together, just the 2 of us. We didn't go out on our anniversary this year because we were short on money and we didn't go out for paul's birthday either. It was super sweet to spend time together alone. <3
Regarding birthday plans...I am having dinner at my parents house on sunday (my actualy birthday) and then im off to the winners staff party. I will probably be making party plans in a week or 2 until things have really settled down a bit more.
I am listening to my new mp3 player right now. I'm ready for those winter bus rides to and from work now. bring it on.
