Well, as i was saying in my last entry, i wish it were 18 celsius. Well....it is!!!
I am having a hard time believing that spring is actually here. When i go outside and feel how warm the breeze is, it's unreal! I am so excited that's its warm. It's amazing how it puts me into such a good mood.
winners! I am going to be starting my job there hopefully sometime next week. My interview was great; i had an answer for every question i was asked and i answered right away. I didn't know that smartset was giving me such a wealth of retail experience. I've never really felt like i was really good at my job until now. :)
My interviewer said my interview was outstanding. I have never had anyone say that to me before! XD
So..on starting a new job. I feel excited and nervous at the same time. I just jope i'm all that i say i am.
Bad news: On the way to my interview our brakes were failing. Paul had to floor the break pedal just to kind of stop. We coasted into the parking lot and paul dropped me off. He drove the car to minute muffler which wasn't too far way. Wehn i met him in chapters he said the car would take about 2 hours to get fixed so we killed some time in chapters, starbucks and the future shop. Paul walked to pick up the car afterwards. the bill came to almost $300 fucking dollars!!! Our break lines had rusted through and needed to be replaced. It costed so much because it took so long to fix. But my god, we can't really afford to just spend $300 like that. Paul is seriously consdiering taking the car off the road and cancelling the insurance and everything. This blows because we both live so far away from our works...paul especially..its on the other damn side of town! He wants to start biking to work and that could take him almost an hour. Not to mention that he doesn't even have a working bicycle. *sigh* So we are really in a tight spot right now. I am really hoping that i will get a decent amount of hours between my 2 jobs because we really need to pay off the visa...and maybe it would help us afford the car better.
However, if the transmission goes on the car it's toast. Here's hoping...0_o
So aside from the car troubles...we are doing fine for the most part. Paul is still looking for another job and hoping his work doesn't strike. I think we will find out tomorrow if the strike is on.
I suppose i'll go back outside to continue weeding and maybe even turn over the garden.
Tah!
