just my weekend
I took off from school on Friday...again. Its unbelieveable how bad my senioritis is: this is my third day off and we've only beek back 3 weeks. Terrible! But that night I went to the Boca Festival, I had no idea that I was going until about a half hour before my ride came and got me (thanks to my lovely cousin, Christina). We arrived, uh, fashionably late. There was only a half hour left when we got there, but ya know what? I still had fun and those lovely ladies in the car with me know why.
Haha, Saturday was the car wash and for a carwash it was pretty fun, I guess. I used my entreprenuer skills for the first time ( lol, I just learned what that meant like last week). I think it worked and I loved the fact that i was making people laugh---even if it was at me. I looked like a fool, but it was all in good fun. But then people were copying my idea. boo....
Today was one of the more boring days, but exiting because it was my sister-in-law's baby shower. That means little Dimitraki is almost here!!!! I can't believe my brother is having a baby. I can't picture him as an adult, even though he's 30. This is by far one of the strangest years because My brother is not only "over the hill", but he's a father now, I turned 18, my little sister is turning 16 and many other things. I guess its just because we're finally growing up. It never seemed like the day would come. But its here and before you know it, I'll be having a family of my own. Who will i marry? hmmmmm, I have 3 people in mind.
This computer is in my parent's room and my Dad is watching his Greek tv. Its basketball and they're showing the highlights of the game and the music they're using is from "Pirates of the Caribbean". I just think its funny that they're using that music to make the highlights more dramatic. Juuuuust thought I'd write that. hahaha....
Well, its that dreadful time of day: the treadmill. 1-2 hours of staring off into nothingness as I feel the intense pain in my shins, calfs, knees, feet and ankles. I just realized thats because I stomp (is that how you spell it?) when I run. So i gotta change that. But hey, the pain's worth it if I'm gettinmg results...
Final Thought of the day: You don't know what you do everytime you wlak into the room. I'm afraid to move
