hello
right now i'm on break-- i work a double shift at madam mam's on sundays. I have to be back at work at 5pm, so that gives me 40 minutes to screw around in the CMA computer lab. Thank the lord the comp lab is right across the street from mam's. Email is a great aleviator of workplace agony!
i CANNOT WAIT until august 12th. That is the day i get to move in to my new apartment, just four blocks away from the university. My future roommates, Nancy and Cecilly seem super cool. They are both really nice. Both are also nearly vegetarian-- nice coinsedence! So that means I'll rarely have meat contaminating my fridgy.
Nancy said that she'll be in town this week and she wants to go shopping with me. GOD, my heart jumped at the invitation. I so seldomly do those girly things. I'm so eager for company. I'm so eager to have these insta-friends that will always be around. Even if we don't super get along, I'd rather not go home to an empty apartment anymore. And shopping! Shopping is great cuz it's not really about the shopping (for me at least)--It's more about talking your head off. Maybe I was a parakeet in a past life.
Yay. I can't wait. When we move in, we totally need to have a big party. Weeeeeee! I will be so much happier once I live down town and I have a new job. I really need change.
