midi to keyboard
Attempting to figure this one out. Uploading midi to the keyboard. Yikes, I need a few clues.
This bit about matching the computer channel to the keyboard. It's not as simple as plug and play. Rats and double rats.
The manual for the ctk 611 says "this is a specialized...blah blah blah." no kidding, ya think.
It would be great if I could just do it, so that the boys can see the music if it displays on the keyboard window.
Definitely need a few more puzzle pieces before I attempt it. For one, do I need a music publisher for this to work.
Eventually, I'll get around to this project, it may take some coersion to get help around here. I'm sure the kids could press the buttons and viola it would be ready. They are much more skilled at the techie stuff than I am. They funx on instinct or intuition.
