I'm still working towards a portfolio. I've got it in mind to also write a narrative of the boys progress at or near the end of this assignment. I've only completed a section I call Mama's unschooling.
This was basically all of my links under educational. I realized to do a complete job I should also cut n paste my personal readings on other themes. The nightmare folder that is my own.
2nd theme. I was watching Galavision, two very disturbing or eyeopening items came up. One was Mexican Army coming to one of our border's. It went so fast I couldn't catch why.
The other bad news was about New Orleans. These Nationals came to help. Many of them are stuck in N.O. without jobs, without living arraingements. From what I gathered some received trauma from coyotes or something like that. One was killed.
A couple of brothers came and had work for 1 week, then the contractors or builders left the area. They now have no work, again.
Some have issues being caught or actually not being able to work for legal pretext. This all was vague to me.
There were other details, which once again I missed some of the context. It went so fast and the colloquialisms or terms are new to me.
My question, why isn't this in U.S. news channels? Why do I have to go to Galavision to find out some truths? I'm not sure what I feel about this news. For sure, someone should represent these folks. So much is out of their hands.
But one gent said "he doesn't want a hand-out" he is a man of jobs. He wouldn't be seen begging on the street.
It's good to keep informed, now I may have to catch these particular news items on the next occasion.
I hate this era, I hate this timeline. When will this be over? the only people I can stand in the moment are my children, and other Gen Xers, what I call 70's people. Hopefully, this won't last. I'll turn back to being an open, free spirit, but today not.
I run across so many people that I censor my mouth around. I hate that.
