"Do not ask the Lord to Guide your Footsteps if you are not willing to move your Feet"
I saw this today and it made me think. And I think I do this a lot.
Faith used to be a easier for me.
I remember being told in middle school and high school that college educated people are less likely to remain Christians with comparable faith to before. I was always positive it wouldn't be me. Now, I wonder, if being educated makes you less likely to believe...then what does that mean? Does it mean that religion is for the uneducated? Does it mean I pick and choose parts of religion that are compatible with my social and moral views as well as my spiritual ones? Does it mean something else?
I still feel comfortable with God. I don't feel removed although I have not been participating in church. But is is and has been increasingly hard for me to reconcile Biblical teachings and things I have learned.
