the poker tourny at jeff's sister's place was fun. jeff made it to the final table- he tied for 5th in the end. i ended up playing one of the "loser tables"- comprised of people who'd played and lost, but wanted to play some more. there were 8 at the table- including myself, jeff's dad, sister, and bro-in-law. i ended up being 3rd- lost to cathy and ron (the sister and bro-in-law). they were impressed with the way i played, considering that it was my first time playing hold 'em with more than one other person. :D i'm proud.
jeff was talking for 2 weeks about taking off today because i had the day off. but then dave told him that instead of jeff losing sick days at the end of the year- or having them roll over, that he'll pay him for them. so there goes my fun day with jeff.
