how does the time keep slipping by so fast?
i read my friends' posts on livejournal daily but the mood to write in my own hardly ever strikes. I've been incredibly busy lately, starting classes again and working. My schedule this semester includes two opening shifts a week at the Four Winds, Formal Logic 3 days a week, Religious Themes in Literature, Travelers and Tales, participation in the New College Chorus, and my self-facilitated a-cappella group that i will try to get on its feet in the coming weeks. Between work, classes, homework, errands, and meal preparation/consumption, I am one busy girl. Trying to save money is hard when bills abound and finding time to work is hard when schoolwork demands so much time... likewise, schoolwork is hard to focus on when various chunks of the day are occupied by hard work. luckily, mom says she'll give me a financial hand so i won't have to get a second job, though who knows what will happen when a summer of impending rent rolls around? fuck being an adult. forget it, i'm marryin rich.
hurtin to see my baby who's so, so very far away. months of practice of saying goodbye to brian haven't ceased the tears that crowd my eyes every time he has to leave. shucks!!
life's pretty fulfilling when it's so busy, even if it's stressful.
