"Hey man!(,)" -from California... with lots of unnecessary punctuation.
i'm sitting in my pj's at Weston's computer right now with his iguana "Moose" staring at me like he's been doing all morning. Weston's in class. in a few minutes i'll go take a shower and venture forth into Santa Barbara on foot for a bit, in search of a pay phone to call gwen back at dad's in Salinas and my friends in San Diego so they know to expect me in a couple days when i arrive there by train... in fact, i think that's tomorrow. daamn. a pay phone is necessary, because **OF COURSE** i would have left my cell phone accidentally in Jacob's car yesterday after he dropped me off here in Santa Barbara and continued on his way home to L.A. so now i'm stranded in Southern California without my cell phone and with pretty hazy plans for seeing people who i can't contact right now in any way.
sounds like an ADVENTURE!
and it shall be. i mean to make this vacation every bit of an adventure, and while i am pretty pretty pretty fucking upset about not having my cell phone (it CRIPPLES me in terms of seeing everyone i intended to see all along on my travels), perhaps being without the damn cell phone will be a sort of nice hiatus for a while.
who am i fucking kidding, it SUCKS not having my phone.
ohwell. i'll make the best of it!!!!!
it looks pretty sunny out the window, but i haven't been outside yet today so who can be too sure. weather report says chance of rain today. maybe i'll walk down to the beach and see WAVES on the ocean for the first time in months. Ahhhh Moose is coming for me!
