Party dilemma
A few weeks ago, I scheduled Libby's birthday party for June 13. It's the perfect day for a party: it's one of the two weekends surrounding her birthday, but not Father's Day weekend, it's on a Saturday so that I have Sunday to recover, and it's in the afternoon so I got the morning to prepare.
I was planning to send out invitations next week. Then today, we got a invitation for a party for another kid in Libby's class. And guess when the party is? June 13.
Weirdly, the invitation didn't have a time on it. I called the family, and they told me the party was at 4:30. Libbys party is from 230 to 4, so technically, it should be okay. But I still I'm not sure about the whole thing.
I really, really don't want to move the party. But on the other hand, I don't want nobody to show up because of this other party. Then again, I was worried we're going to have too many kids so this might be a good thing. (We are inviting like 30 kids.)
