It's progressed in her mind to being 90% a 'yay!' thing, and only 10% a 'Simon is not just my Simon boo' thing. Kaylee is obviously good for Simon, and River has now met her niece and nephew, which meanst hat Kaylee is definitely going to continue being good for Simon. She still has childish moments of wanting her brother all to herself, but she tries not to act on this very often, because it isn't very nice, and makes Simon emo. But pretty much she's stopped waiting for Kaylee to fuck up.
3. River thinks it's laughable, because...no hormones, what? Simon is someone that she'd watch having sex (thanks, Joss!), but not because it's vouyeristic or sexy, just because it's Simon and River stalks him. Sexual desire is something other people have, not her, and even if she did have it, she can't imagine having it for Simon.
Kaylee also thinks it's laughable, but more in the 'eeheheh can we not talk about this?' way. Because Simon has always been willing to drop everything for River, she can kiiiinda see it, in her worst nightmares. But she also doesn't truly believe that Simon would do such a thing, because...gross. Simon's got a big thing for propriety, and doing your sister violates that in a big way. But she really wishes that people would stop fixating on it.
4. Sophie thinks that Earth is weird. There's this technology magic, people with no magic at all, and people who seem to have no concept of God or the Devil. It's the people who are nice that throw her off the most, though. People being kind to her is so foreign it's suspicious, and she doesn't know how to take it. They don't understand or even know about all the things that her life is entirely based on, and that freaks her out more than a little. It also smells unpleasant.
