Dear USA,
(Or at least, the HBO online store, and the American Post System)
Ho-kay. I was looking at buying something from you. More specifically,
that awesome Merlotte's tee and mug combo that you have on sale right about now. I'd put it in my cart, and had even gone so far as to start the check out process when something made me want to cry. USA, when the shipping to get this item to me is the same price as the item itself, you have to expect that Canadians are not going to be impressed. Especially when shipping anywhere in the United States costs five bucks and change.
I was totally willing to deal with the exchange rate, but your exorbitant shipping is where I draw the line. I am not paying $52.00 American for a tee-shirt and a mug when less than that IN CANADIAN DOLLARS will get me a band-tee from Australia and cover the shipping.
Dissapointedly yours,

Dear Australia,
(Or at least, the Hilltop Hoods online store, and the Australian Post system)
I was looking at buying either a tee-shirt or a hoodie from you. Shipping, all the way from Auzzie-land, is eleven AUD. This is about ten-something Canadian, according to the currency converter that I discovered. This is reasonable. I will very, very likely be purchasing a tee-shirt from you -- or maybe even splurging on a Hilltop Hoods Hoody -- sometime today.
Unlike my previous international online shopping experience, you make sense. Thank you.
Respectfully yours,
Percy O'Leary
