I know that there's the whole Disney Princess of colour thing going on, which is great. Then there's also the fact it's gonna be 2D, and a musical to boot. Which is fantastic too.
BUT. Butbutbutbut.
It's set in New Orleans. NEW FRIGGING ORLEANS. In the 1920's Jazz Age. With a lovesick FIREFLY named RAY.
This is to say nothing of the SINGING ALLIGATOR, the VOODOO PRIESTESS/FAIRY GODMOTHER, and the Prince named NAVEEN.
(My apologies for all the caps, but oh, my sweet blue coffee cups. Wow.)
I think I'm gonna go ahead and pronouce "The Princess and the Frog" a piece of epic win right here and now.

Kristen Chenoweth -- as in, Glinda from 'Wicked" --is voicing her.
