School's done.
And not just the done-classes kind either. I don't have to set foot on campus until the new year, and I don't need to do any academic-type thinking for a while either.
(There is the whole issue with my Children's Literature class having a waitlist, and my being on it, but I'm doing my best not to think about that right now.)
Regard! My TO DO list for the Christmas Break:
thewriter16 has reminded me of my deep seated desire to see "Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street". As it stands, the plan is to go see it on Christmas afternoon. I may end up dragging Amber along, should she be in the country, and perhaps even Riley as well.- I plan to get a crapload of reading done. First on the list is finishing Terry Pratchett's "The Colour of Magic". Next, "Fragile Things" by Neil Gaiman. Then a shitload of Bill Bryson's writing, because he's fabulous. From there? Who knows.
- I'd like to get some writing done too, actually. I owe Riley a fic in exchange for the mp3s she sent me. I get to play around with a movieverse Kitty and Peter for the first time ever as part of this project. There's also "I Get By" to deal with, and now the newly dubbed "Lock and Key"...see previous entry for details. Wish me luck?
Free time is a wonderful, wonderful thing.
Right. So, I'm gonna go finish my coffee, change out of my pajamas, and then go bother my favourite person ever -- my chiropractor. I fail to understand why he puts up with me, but hey. He fixes my back and I love him for it.
