There's no excuse at all when I realize, surprise, you were right all along.

Amber? I blame you. Completely.

Our conversation last night left me feeling wonderfully geeky, and I slept the better for your reassurance that I'm not going to lose it over the course of this semester.

I ended up following your advice -- I got a lift down to Chapters this morning, and I browsed. It felt very good, especially when coupled with a nice hot drink to combat the rain outside.

Guess what? They had the first volume of Fables.

The realization of this fact was quickly followed by the sound of your voice in my head.
"Do it, Percy. Dooooooooooooo it."
"Amber? What the flip are you doing here?"
"DO IT. THE COUNTESS COMMANDS IT."
You don't argue when disembodied!Amber tells you something. I've learned this.

So now, when I should be reading Marlowe's Edward II,  researching issues in youth spirituality and how that makes a difference in the classroom, and prepping for a test on "The Man from Glengarry", I have a shiny new TPB sitting there on my bed that is attempting to lead me astray.

I hope you're pleased with yourself.

conversations, life in general, i ship percy/amber, geekiness ahoy, school
