Home. Atrax. Niko. Memories haunting and that mantra, that mantra. Both of them were so deep and layered and nuanced in this piece. And so capable and awesome and you got Nicole Fury in there enough for me to feel her being awesomely Fury and I love this so much I could hug it and run away into the sunset with it. Love, love, love, love, love.

I'm so glad the mantra rang so true. It was inspired by a comic quote, and just grew from there, and God did I bleed for Collie there. Argh.
And I don't know about Natasha, but I don't think the Red Room will ever quite let Niko go, no matter what.
In short, d'aaaaaaaaaaaaaw, and thank you!

And Collie. Just a girl with a bow. That whole series was deep-achingly beautiful and painful and sucked me in so deep it was like I was in her head and feeling it with her, then Niko snaps her out of it like she did for him and knowing like she knows him.
I love these two so much, their dynamic, regardless of how it bleeds out. But you take it and just make it so amazing, I don't have words big enough to say how hard this piece hits me where I feel it.
Yeah.

Niko is this fusebox wired all wrong, and even though there are people who have tried to help him get the wires straight, but it will never be entirely right no matter how close it gets. Plus, this is electricity. Never a good thing to play with.
And in my mind, God. Collie. This has been drilled in to her so hard. She's so held by this understanding of how she functions that it's that scar. It's in her breath. It's in every. Single. Arrow.
Again, I need to make sure you know how honoured I am by this. Thank you so, so much.
*hugs*

I need to write more of these two. They have wormed their way into my head today for some reason and it's either awesome or maddening.
Prompt me, woman. PROMPT ME.

1. Everything's blood and all is well.
2. I’m breathing your blood. You are breathing my name.
3. "We're more of the love, blood, and rhetoric school. Well, we can do you blood and love without the rhetoric, and we can do you blood and rhetoric without the love, and we can do you all three concurrent or consecutive. But we can't give you love and rhetoric without the blood. Blood is compulsory. They're all blood, you see." from Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, by Tom Stoppard

I hate you. :)
These are all brilliant. You even got one from Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are dead OH MY GOD. I love the film adaptation of it (my friend and I have been know to play 'questions') and now you have prompted me with it and I don't know if I could do it justice and I'm falling to my knees in existential angst over this and the beauty of the prompt and I'm gonna stop run-on-sentencing now.

Sadly enough, I have a few lines for something running through my head right now. Surrounding Collie and Niko, of course, and the opposite of crack. Ooooh boy.

Speaking of which, itching about these two myself. Any prompts I can scratch with?

As to a prompt (because OMIGOD more Collie and Niko!), how about this:
And I guess I just wanted to tell you, as the light starts to fade,
That you are the reason that I am not afraid.
OR...
All of this is a consequence brought on by our own hands, if you believe in that kind of thing.
