We bought a little house on highball way.
My brother, Joe, ended up getting me an iTunes gift card for my birthday.
The question obviously became exactly what I was going to buy. It hit me yesterday at work -- I knew exactly what I wanted.
Canadians? Do you remember the band Sky? They were a couple of Quebecois boys who had two major hits back around 1998, 1999: "Some Kinda Wonderful" and "Love Song". They did catchy pop well, and while the music was clean cut the guys themselves were notorious for being foul-mouthed during interviews and the like.
Those of you not of the Canadian persuasion will likely not even know who the hell I'm talking about, or won't remember them. "Some Kinda Wonderful" didn't even chart in the States, and "Love Song" barely made a blip there.
As either a reminder or an introduction, I give you Sky.
The moral of the story would be that I adore "Love Song", these guys make me happy, and I am downloading their debut album "Piece of Paradise" as I type.
I totally wasn't thinking about getting the words and if the darkness is all you see, well then you don't know what you're missing, do you? tattooed vertically along the right side of my ribcage for a while back when I was first considering getting ink done. Honest.
