Attention City -- Help Required (voicepost)
I've discovered that my power here in the City is very limited compared to the "magic" and other technology that far surpasses what even I have from Section 9. With all sorts of problems happening under my auspices, I must upgrade to continue the work I began in my world -- anti-terrorism and capture of the most dangerous criminals.
I'm looking for anyone and any number of citizens willing to help me with some projects to change this:
1. If anyone is capable of teaching this energy-based technology that many call magic, I would like to learn it. Despite my cyborg body, I too will burn or freeze or overload like anyone else after enough damage from it.
2. I hear some have nanotechnology. If you have repair nanites, or another form of technology that will allow me to repair myself automatically, even if slowly, I would be willing to exchange technology or services for it.
3. I would like some help constructing a mech -- like it or not, I have no weapons to combat giant machines like these. Even anti-tank turrets would bounce off them.
4. I need a source of powerful weapons for the roughest jobs, ranging from high-caliber guns to anti-tank shoulder-mounts. Keep in mind that I am a cyborg, and I can take much more recoil than an organic-bodied human.
5. If there is anyone interested in taking on the hardest tasks, I could use a skilled hacker or two for information-gathering and breaking antagonist systems, someone experienced with powerful weapons for actual combat, and hopefully someone with a mech, an anti-machine tank, or any other sort of robotic combat device. You don't need to follow me like little dogs, of course; I'd just like to know someone who can be on call if we can play a role in defending either the City or someone who is attempting to do so.
6. In an alternative to 5, I am willing to be part of a team, subject to another field commander. However, I have much experience in field command that I believe will allow me to perform best when I can use it. If anyone needs a cyborg from an anti-terrorist force, remember me.
If I must prove my loyalty to justice or anything of the like, I'll do what I must. I need a pool of resources if I am to be of any use here in the City.
