Well, one of Kita's friends gave her a DVD today... of her absolute favorite movie from when she was a child, "The Last Unicorn."  Now, don't get me wrong, I love the movie too, but she's been playing with it nonstop for the past four hours.  Ergo, I have it stuck in my head.  I was trying to  write a response for this weeks' challenge over at

Thank you soo much. I'm glad you found this worth reading, even if you've never read Pet Shop of Horrors. This is what comes of my roommate playing the DVD nonstop while I'm trying to write.

Oh, dear, first I got you hooked on Drake&JJ and now I'm going to make you start reading Pet Shop. Altogether a danger to you, aren't I?

*chuckles*

Glad you think so. Originally, it was Kita that got me hooked on PSoH. Then I had to go get my own copies. It was love at first read.

BTW, I adore your new Icon!!! JJ forever!! Now we just need a good one of Drake!!!

Oh, I like this version even better. The last paragraph is especially nice. I think you've especially nailed her character: as long as there's even the faintest hope, she'll keep working, even though she suspects that it's futile.

I would never have thought to have a crossover between these two, but it really works well!

Thank you! I'm so glad you liked this! This is how I always saw her. This is what comes of listening to the movie over and over.

Did you get my e-mail?

*applause* Magnificent.

I adored The Last Unicorn when I was a child, both the movie and the book. You did a fantastic job blending the two series. Seamlessly. Great work!
