Going back to Sedona Military Base for this round, and the last soldier still living at the Barracks - Esteban Garcia.
To spice things up and to force myself out of my comfort zone, I decided to add a few random mini-challenges to the game, a different challenge every week. Esteban gets to go first, mwahaha!
FFFFFFFFFFFFFUU....!
D:
*takes deep, bracing breath*
Before worrying about triple-deaths on his property though, the perpetually unlucky in love Esteban goes for a visit at Vault 13, in the hope that at least something will go right for him.
Esteban: "C'mon, who can resist such a dashing guy?"
Esteban: "Let me have a closer look, member of the female gender!"
Dreadlock Lady: "Um, creepy much?"
Later...
Esteban: "Be still my heart!"
Esteban's fuchsia-clad heartthrob is

jessi_dot 's Thessaly.
Thessaly: "Hello there, stranger."
Esteban: "...and we would make the cutest babies ever!"
Thessaly: "I hear ya, chump...but I'm not convinced."
Esteban decides to up the ante, and it seems to go well.
Appearances can, however, be deceiving.
Thessaly: "Do not want!"
Esteban: *crushed*
Esteban had to return home, which meant it was only a matter of time before the first victim showed up.
Noooooes, Julian! :(
Watch out!
O.o
He's enjoying this FAR too much...
Vulpes: "Death to profligates!"
Oh shit I forgot to take out that dodgy Grim Reaper default xD
Being ushered into afterlife by a naked, headless body...how undignified. Vulpes would approve.
Esteban: *sobs*
This is NOT his day.
The barracks now have a cemetery. RIP, Julian. :(
Esteban gives Vulpes a piece of his mind.
Esteban: "You dog-headed psycho!"
The second unfortunate soul to walk by is the paper girl.
Who ends up on the wrong end of a falling satellite.
And so, the graveyard grows.
More and more bad luck; seriously, the guy just can't catch a break.
The postman arrives to deliver the bills on a stormy morning...
...and is promptly struck by lightning.
Phew. Challenge complete, and only one playable death! I suppose I shouldn't be glad about it...:P
Julian's death however left behind a distraught Kaylynn, his widow, who has a major breakdown.
She's pregnant with his child, too.
Pregnant, and nuts.
Kaylynn: "Wanna hold the baby, Esteban? His name is Sacky Flour."
Esteban: "There, there. Things will get better."
"...a lot, lot better."
Dude. Her husband's barely been dead a couple of hours! Way uncool.
Way, WAY uncool.
Things proceed quickly from there. Mutual healing or rash mistake? Only time will tell.
They seem to settle into the life of married bliss quite quickly.
You know, feel free to look just a tiny bit less pleased with yourself, Esteban...
Kaylynn: "Uhhh...I think my water broke."
Kaylynn: "AAAARGHHH it huuuurts! Damn you, Julian, wherever you are!"
Aaaaaand sardorandomness strikes again: Kaylynn gives birth to a girl.
This is Renata.
Because the apartment was too minuscule for a baby, they move to another, slightly less minuscule one. Still no separate baby room, but at least they can fit the pram.
Say what you will about Esteban...
...but he makes a devoted step daddy to Renata.
What do tough Army grunts do in their spare time? Mostly play chess and jump rope...
Three uneventful days later, Renata grew up.
Ummm...how about NO.
That's better!
She definitely takes after Julian...I guess he'll live on through her now.
