guild meeting

Wow, it was such a lovely night! But let's start from the beginning...

I met with Jacob and a few first people in Prague to go there together. And as afraid as I was, I immediately knew I'd love them :) Sounds like a bit of cliché, doesn't it? I wasn't driving the way there (I was humbly trying to navigate and I must say I was pretty successful ^^) 'cause the traffic in Prague is on Friday at 4:30 p. m. quite troubling. And starting off again and again makes me especially big trouble.

On the way there, those four of them were talking and talking and I felt really shy to join them. Well, I'm such a chicken in WoW, you know ^^ But sooner or later I started talking a bit as well, after all.

The pub/brewery in Dětenice was still as amazing as it used to be. Lit just by candles, rude but funny waiters, eating with hands... Yay, I enjoy this kind of stuff so much!

First hour or so I was hardly talking to anyone. I didn't know what to say and they apparently didn't know, either. So I was eating, drinking one coke after another and smoking like a chimney. God, my poor lungs. Then I suddenly sat next to Jamali who was an amazing girl studying genetics in Prague and from that very time it got just better.

It appeared that there was a girl from Netherlands who has just moved to Prague to live with Connie, another WoW player. Actually, they met each other in WoW, they somehow fell in love... and voila, they were there together! Also there was another pair and they looked so sweet, so very similar, as if they were born for each other. Awk! WoW is making good partnerships, evidently :D

The funniest of all the people was however Sendik's family. He got divorced and now cares for two children. What a good upbringing! They must go to raids till 11 p. m. (yes, they are ordered to play a PC game! :D) and then wake up at 4:30 in the morning to go to their swimming training. And the children love it. (And despite this routine they're still way too hyperactive in my opinion ^^) Problem arises when they go to their mother. She forbids them playing, so the kids hate her equally as her ex-husband does xD

As for the program, it was surely excellent. Live medieval music (that was completely fantastic!!) and dancers on the tables and fireshow and a devil and inquisition... Oh, it was so lovely! And I got a stamp on my arm that I was hell checked-in - just because wearing a top! But, yeah, I've never thought I'd go to heaven really, being a pagan :D

That reminds me about the inquisition. They were trying to find a witch around our table. First, they went to Sendinka but she was only 15 and too silent to be sufficient. Then the poor priest went to Absurd, that girl from Netherlands. And you know, devil (or inquisitors) apparently doesn't speak English or Dutch or German. What a pity. Then Jacob cried, pointing at me: "Here, there's a witch and she loves torturing!" I flushed. And then told him to shut up when he's drunk xD But no one really notice, I hope.

We set off to our way back to Prague at about 10 p. m. I was driving and Jacob navigated. So we got lost on the first crossing we could :D But I was brave and didn't panic (which I usually do when I get lost while driving), turned back and then it was just normal road back... Till I got to Prague. I went to one crossing while there was red, stopped in the middle of that crossing and then drove back to pedestrian crossing, having front of the car still in the crossing itself. Sheeesh, I just prayed there would go no police, no pedestrian and that no one will laugh at me for this for at least a year :D

But more or less I drove us back home safely and we went both immediately to bed. It was amazing but also exhausting. (And my lungs and driving skills are exhausted as well!)

Dětenice, driving, meeting, wow
