Because we all need more adorableness
This bit of adorableness happened in my room today. My sister and her husband came home yesterday with four ducklings and a guinea hen chick, inspired by my brother who has four ducks of his own. My brother-in-law also had a duck when he was a kid and may have been feeling nostalgic. But ducks will reduce the bug population in your lawn (and also kill the lawn if you have too many ducks, but their poop makes great fertilizer) and guinea hens will also eat mosquitoes.
We'll be taking measures to make sure they stay alive long enough to reach adult size. We have cats and raccoons in the area, so yeah, safety is an issue.
But right now they're just plain adorable. ;A;
