Ever since I got this computer, the amount of time I've spent using Photoshop has gone drastically down. The reason for this is because Photoshop apparently hates my computer. It is really, really irritating to try to edit or color something when random bars of inverted color crisscross the picture, or I can't see the edges of the image because of some weird doubling effect. And then there's the issue of the image "smearing" when I use the hand tool to move my view.
I do not think words can accurately describe how frustrating these glitches are. What's needed here are pictures. And so, jury, I present the evidence!
Exhibit A: The weird bars of color. These bars are random, the colors are random, sometimes they're black, sometimes they're imprints of layers beneath the layer I am working on, but the result is always the same. I can't see that area properly and it's really distracting!
Exhibit B: Doubling at the edges. This happens when I zoom out. You can still see a bit of the zoomed in image at the edge of the picture - and you can't see the actual edge of the picture. Sometimes I don't get doubling, just a blank gray section (like in Exhibit A), but it has the same effect. Dang it, sometimes I need to see those edges!
Exhibit C: The blur. As I said, this happens when I move the picture with the hand tool or when I move the picture window itself in my work space. I don't think I need to explain why this one drives me up a wall.
I know how to work around the glitches, of course, but still. I shouldn't have to put up with this crap at all. It's things like this that make me really tempted to get a Mac, which is what Photoshop is made for.
Original image: I forget if I've posted this picture up before, but hello, that's me! I was in the process of dressing up as Regene for Sakura Con, but had not yet put on my wig or the glasses. I had fun playing around with Ani's props. :3
