I think I'll try anyway

I think I'm going to try to get an Internship next spring after all, even if I won't get college credit for it. This means I need to get my butt in gear and start piecing together a portfolio, talk to teachers about said portfolio, and look for animation companies willing to hire a part time intern. I've only got a month left to have my teachers' help on this, though, since the semester ends soon. This means I will be spending more Tuesdays and Thursdays, possibly Fridays, too, up at the school. Tuesday/Thursday lab time runs from 12:00-2:40 and Friday lab time runs from 12:00-6:30. If I use Friday lab time, I highly doubt I'll stay that late. I'd probably have my dad pick me up on his way home from work and be home by 6:00. Tuesdays and Thursdays, I'll probably be staying at the school after the lab closes because I've got a classmate who needs help studying for an upcoming test. Again, I'll probably stay until dad gets off work so he can pick me up. I probably ought to buy a month-long student bus pass, since my mom doesn't usually have the car on those days so won't be able to take me there in the middle of the day.

The good thing about working at the labs is that I still have Internet access. The bad thing is that the only way I can get on AIM is through AIM Express. Oh well. I probably shouldn't let myself get distracted from my work anyway.

Thanks for the input, guys. I was having a hard time making a decision on my own. And, hey, if it falls through, I can always look for a part-time paying job.
