So what's been new you ask? A few things I suppose. Our trip to Moscow was a bust this weekend. We weren't able to go because we couldn't get a room ANYWHERE. It was no big deal though, we were able to return our trin tickets and got more than half our money back, which was more than we expected. Things ended up working out in the long run though. Thursday morning at school I ended up talking with some guys from England who where here with a group of people from different universities there. Patrick goes to Oxford and Steven goes to London School of Economics, he's a part time lecturer in the math/physics faculty. The sad thing is that they were only here for a few days (it was a ten day trip), but we ended up hanging out with them for the weekend (they left for Moscow last night). We took them out to a club on Thursday as they hadn't been out here at all in the week that they spent here. Good times were had by all.

Today Meaghan and I went to the Alexander Nevsky Monastery to hit up the graveyards there. We saw the graves of (most notably) Dostoevsky, Tchaikovsky, The Mighty Five (a group of composers: Mussorgsky, Rimsky-Korsakov, Glinka, Balakirev, and Borodin), and Pushkin's wife. The weather was pretty nice...it was a bit cooler today than it has been for the last few days, it's been gorgeous all weekend for the most part.

Meaghan and I are going to be heading to Tallinn, Estonia on Saturday and then to Riga, Latvia a few days later. I can't wait to be in another city. They're quite a bit smaller and have really fortress-style centres (think Quebec City). I hope everyone is well!
