Random survey

Apr 06, 2004 20:54

Only doing the first part of this because I don't LOVE surveys, but I think these random questions are pretty interesting.

1) Grab the book nearest to you, turn to page 18, find line 4. Write down what it says: "...explain the value of studying management by looking at the universality of..."

2) Stretch your left arm out as far as you can. What do you touch first? My brackets for the NCAA Tournament. I picked UConn to win it all, hell yeah.

3) What is the last thing you watched on TV? Currently watching American Idol. The LAST thing I watched was the West Wing. Bravo just started showing the second season at 7 every night so I'm of course obsessed with it.

4) WITHOUT LOOKING, guess what the time is. 8:13

5) Now look at the clock, what is the actual time? 8:16

6) With the exception of the computer, what can you hear? Jazmine Trias singing on American Idol. I think she's getting my vote again this week, in addition to JPL of course.

7) When did you last step outside? What were you doing? Went to KFC with Mike, Merry, and Amy

8) Before you came to this website, what did you look at? Um well this website was my friends page. Before that I was reading the Showcase board with a great tribute to Cobain from Tim.

9) What are you wearing? Blue tshirt and khaki pants.

10) Did you dream last night? Not last night but I had a lot of dreams this weekend. Including one where my fish was dying (very sad) and I had another (four?) fish named Nebraska. And another where Rachel and Cassie had just beat someone up and then an alligator jumped out of a van onto my dad (very scary)

11) When did you last laugh? Probably something on the West Wing. This republican girl was debating Sam and Josh came running into Toby's office and was like "Toby come quick! Sam's getting his ass kicked by a girl" and Toby was like "Get the popcorn!"

12) What is on the walls of the room you are in? Way too much. Pictures, movie tickets, concert tickets, posters, various set lists.

13) Seen anything weird lately? Not particularly

14) Last movie you saw? I watched Wall Street the other night. Last movie I saw in theaters was Taking Lives and it was good.

15) If you became a multi-millionaire overnight, what would you buy first? I'd buy a house somewhere in Montgomery County maybe so I could keep going to school here. I was going to say in between here and Waldorf so Rachel could live with me, but if I'm a multimillionaire we're both quitting our jobs so nevermind.

16) Tell me something about you that I don't know. I just signed up to join the Rock The Vote street team so I can try to register people to vote at our shows. I think it'll be fun and it'll feel like I'm making a difference by getting young people to care about politics.

17) If you could change one thing about the world, regardless of guilt or politics, what would you do? I dunno why I just thought of this, but I'd somehow make it so all the religions would get along. More wars have been started over religion than anything else, and I just don't understand why people choose to kill others over respecting their beliefs.

18) Do you like to dance? Sometimes?

19) George Bush: I don't mind him as much as most people. I don't think we can blame him for going to war for WMDs anymore than we can anyone in Congress, including Democrats. But regardless of his reason for going to war, I think he did a good job with the war. The economy also isn't all his fault; it was the fault of Sept 11. But cutting taxes for the wealthy is unexcusable in these times of large budget deficits, so for that I can't forgive the new breed of republicans that Bush represents that cut taxes and increase spending at the same time to create an even larger deficit.

20) Imagine your first child is a girl, what do you call her? Rachel and I discussed a while ago that we'd name our daughter Emilia. We haven't talked about it in a while so I dunno if that still stands, but I think it's a beautiful name.

21) [Same question for a boy] Not sure. But I definitely want our son's middle name to be Wayne, since both of our fathers have Wayne for a middle name.

22) Would you ever consider living abroad? As cool as it would be, probably not. I love my family too much to live that far away from them.
