Just got back from seeing the film.
Wow.
First of all the cinematography was amazing again. I'm a total lighting whore and I wanted to icon the whole damn thing. I can't watch films anymore without wanting to icon every last frame. Will be quietly dying until I can cap this.
-Luna? Love. So much love. Her voice, her expressions, her everything. ♥
-Lucius. Guh. Kill me now. I love Jason Isaacs so much and he's really the perfect Lucius. Tried not to think about what he said about his wig. I failed.
-Sirius was first killed with the killing curse then thrown in the veil. Fail. Fail to the nth degree. They never specify in the book what sent him through the veil... and I c&p:
Only one pair was still battling, apparently unaware of the new arrival. Harry saw Sirius duck Bellatrix's jet of red light: he was laughing at her.
'Come on, you can do better than that!' he yelled, his voice echoing around the cavernous room.
The second jet of light hit him squarely on the chest.
The laughter had not quite died from his face, but his eyes widened in shock.
If Harry had seen the green of the killing curse in the book, I doubt he would have tried to go after him.
-Sirius called Harry James. So, please to be sending me the fic now, thanks.
-My slashy little heart exploded. Harry/Draco, Harry/Lucius, Harry/Remus, Remus/Sirius and omgI'mgoingtohell Harry/Sirius.
-Harry. ♥ Actually, I expected more CAPSLOCK! and it didn't happen.
-Remus had a minor role but the scene where he holds Harry back makes me remember why I sometimes like to read Harry/Remus.
-Draco was a mere parody of himself. It's hard to take that Draco seriously. I blame the directors. Not that I see Tom as Draco anyway, but yeah. More H/D scenes would have been cherished regardless.
-Dumbledore. A lot of people hate him, and that's fine, I think he's manipulative too, but I loved all the scenes with him. Especially escaping the Minister/Umbridge et all and when he was fighting Voldemort.
-Kingsley saying Dumbledore had style. Priceless.
-The Umbridge scenes were more comedic than sinister and that bothered me a lot.
-Also the whole betrayal of Marietta and the room of requirement scenes were all off.
-No Quidditch. For years I was waiting for that scene of Harry punching Draco on the pitch, and nothing. I knew before I went in, but it still disappointed.
-Harry/Cho kiss. So much love they kept the 'wet' in there. So much love.
-Did I mention Luna? ♥
-I'm sure there's lots more, but I can't think right now. :P
Although there was a lot of fail in this film, the good parts more than outweighed the bad so, I enjoyed it.
