I really wanted to use that DD image and I thought if that was Mulder (of course he is, but you get what I mean), what would he be thinking about? Would he look back on his time partnered with Krycek, and wonder if there was anything that he could have done to change his path or was Krycek unable to be swayed. etc etc...
