(no subject)
Looks like I'm headed to New Orleans for Halloween!!!!
I was going to go to Jacksonville for the Georgia/Florida game.. but we're going to get killed. Also none of my group I'm supposed to go with seems to be able to get it together so we still haven't made any concrete plans. Plus I went last year, and will have next year as well. New Orleans should be a BLAST though, I'm so excited. I'm going with my friend Jordan who has a close girl friend who lives there. Jordan and I have become really close friends ever since she got back from Paris this summer. One thing that brought us pretty close is that she is dating this guy, and I went out with her and his friends and met/liked/dated his room mate for about a month. So that was fun to go over to their place together and hang out as just the four of us... but JP decided to get back with his ex so thats not going on anymore.
Also- I have decided to sublease my apartment for next semester. Since I will be going to Italy it makes more sense. Also I have a friend who just bought a house.. If I can get my apartment leased I'm going to move into his house in January so I can stick around here and work until I leave, then I'd live with him through December when I graduate. The beauty of that situation is no lease, and much cheaper rent. I was planning to pay for the 2.5 months of rent while I was gone anyway, but his extra room will be open in January. Its a brand new house and only costs me $340 for the bigger spare room, my own bathroom, and a spot in the garage. Pretty sweet deal. And its off Prince Ave. I like that area. Only thing is that in the summer I won't have a pool to go to, but I'm sure I'll be in the Summit all the time anyway.
So- if any of you Athens people know of anyone looking to rent a place in January let me know!
