How to choose a font?

Jul 08, 2009 20:34

I've read through tons of memories and looked at about a zillion fonts and I have no idea how anyone chooses a font that they LOVE and want to have on them forever.

I want to have my feet done with two quotes from The Dark Tower series. On one foot I want "There are other worlds than these" and on the other foot "All things serve the beam"

I know I want something of a script type and feminine looking but not too cluttered. I want it to look good for a long time since I'm pretty sure that I'm going to cry like a baby when I have it done. I have several other tattoos ( my upper 1/3 of my back on my shoulder blade and my lower back are both done).

I know that feet tend to be hard to heal and might need touch ups more frequently than other places and I'm prepared to do that. I just need help I feel like I'm going blind from looking at fonts. When I do find a font do I just print it out for my artist?

Any ideas for how to pick a font? I just feel like all I do is stare at a ton of them :(

Any help about feet or fonts would be greatly appreciated.
