The other quote ("we accept the love we think we deserve") could possibly be made into a bracelet-type of tattoo--smaller font, circling your wrist. Of course, there's a chance it'd look like scar tissue and you tried to cut off your hand...Just an idea though.
As for front, I like #2. And I'm also a big big fan of Perks. :) Do post pictures when you get it!
Recommendation 1: "infinite" as a word, particularly in a small enough font to fit on a wrist, might blur. How would you feel about getting an infinity symbol? Small, subtle, likely to age well, and not likely to spur as many questions as a word on a wrist.
Recommendation 2: Depending on your skin tone, white ink might not show up very well. How would you feel about a pastel ink (light blue, light purple)? I've seen some really pretty pieces done in very light colors, and they seem more hardy than straight-up white.
Yeah, I was worried about bleeding, but I don't know how bad tattoos bleed, so I'm not really sure how big I'd have to the word to have it still look nice and readable. I really like the idea of having the word on me, but an infinity symbol might look nice too.
I've heard it shows up best if you're pale, and I'm pretty pale so I wasn't too worried... pastel ink might look nice, I haven't really seen any just pastel tattoos, but I'll definitely look into them. I wanted white so it wouldn't be very noticeable, but if it's not going to show up much at all in general then I'd probably have to go with some sort of pastel. It's hard to know if it would show up well on me without trying it though...
Thank you for the recommendations, I really appreciate it. :)
I like the idea of the infinity symbol! Very creative and it's still the same meaning!
My friend had the "I love you" sign (like an actual hand making the sign) tattooed on her foot. She's pretty pale but the artist suggested adding a pastel to the white to shade so it would stand out. She added a light pink and it shows up better and looks awesome. I thought it would be super pink but it's very light. She said her artist suggested a pale blue, pale purple, or pale pink to keep from fading.
