Text only - splitting up a poem section?

Apr 24, 2009 15:55

Hello everyone! This continues to be my very favorite community ever.

It's high time I added to the collection of ink upon my body and the next one up is a portion of Tennyson's "Ulysses."

I'm very, very attached to the following section:

Come my friends.
'Tis not too late to seek a newer world.
Push off, and sitting well in order smite
The sounding furrows; for my purpose holds
To sail beyond the sunset, and the baths
Of all the western stars, until I die.

Bolded portions are crucial, although I love the whole thing. I have nowhere to put the whole thing, so I considered splitting it up. But I'm not sure how, and I'm not sure where I'd put them. I thought about putting the first two lines on my inner upper arm, then thought I could put another one on the inside of the other arm, but I'm not sure if I could realistically fit all of it. Plus, if I split it up but *only* include the two bolded portions, I'm worried about it not flowing together since it would be missing the connecting phrase.

Clearly the internet is here to answer all my big questions! Help?
