I just joined, but I really liked the concept of this community, considering I have my own literary tattoos. I have four tattoos and three of them are for the love of books!
Yes, from the Sword and the Stone. I've always been told that I am wise beyond my years (owl), and it's something I take a lot of pride in, and I love my books, so this tattoo works perfectly.
Kurt Vonnegut- "So It Goes" The picture isn't the best, sorry. This was actually my first tattoo, it's almost two years old now. The picture makes the "It" look like an H. It doesn't really.
One of my favorite tattoos, for one of my favorite writers. I adore Charles Bukowski. The first book I ever read by him was Hot Water Music. I also love the band, so it was a win win to use the band logo. They actually named the band after that book. I cut the picture so it would be suitible for work. But it's on my left ribcage. It's about 2 1/2 or 3 inches in length, and about two inches width wise. I love it.
I am planning on eventually getting a Bukowski half sleeve.
I am going to get this picture:
Well, I guess that's all I have to say for now.
