(no subject)
Hi, I just found this community a couple of days ago, and I've been wanting to get another tattoo every since my last one. I currently have two tattoos
&
(Picasso's Peace Dove)
The first was is on my lower left stomach, near my hip. I'm thinking about getting a nature related quote added to the side, across my hip, maybe "the earth laughs in flowers" - e.e. cummings. I just think it's a great quote that really exemplifies the beauty and happiness that comes from nature. Also, I'd probably add some vines/stems going through the words just to connect the two tattoos together.
I also want to get another text tattoo from one of my favorite books. Most likely "The Fountainhead" by Ayn Rand or another Ayn Rand quote. My ex-boyfriend, whom did not turn out to be a good guy, thankfully introduced me to Ayn Rand. I love her philosophy, and the whole thing of a person being completely responsible for their own happiness in enlightening. I'll probably place it on my right side, under my breast/across my ribs (yeah I know it'll hurt). So here are the quotes I've narrowed it down to:
- "A battle is never selfless"
- "To love is to value"
- "I am. I think. I will." (actually from Anthem)
I also really like the quote "Tomorrow we will run faster, stretch out our arms farther" from the Great Gatsby.
Possible fonts for this placement? I'd like a cursive, elegant kind.
