Two months, 7 days, and 13 1/2 hours of driving later and honeys, I'm home! I actually got home late Friday night but please feel free to take my hat, kiss my cheek, and tell me that the porn is ready and waiting on the table regardless.
(
The last couple of days have been spent getting California out of my system )
I feel the need to blame you entirely for the fact that I picked up Teen Titans last week just because Blue Beetle was on the cover. Of course, he was in it for five seconds, but whaaaaaaa. I have a problem because of course I want to read Teen Titans now.
And I need you to tell me what I should be reading because I DON'T KNOW!!
I get no help working in a comic book store, because there's no one I can trust. I'm not asking the terrifying geeky socially inept men what I should be reading because I fear that their list would never end. And also my boss hates superheroes, so he's no use.
Southern Belle Bruce is one of the most wonderful things I've seen in a long time. oh comics!
And no matter how many times you think you've read and re-read all the Tim/Kon in the world, sometimes something will pop up to surprise you.
ALSKFJSKGJ!! I NEED LINKS!

I WILL HAPPILY TAKE THE BLAME FOR THIS. It was awesome right?!?! Kon flashbacks! Young Justice Bart! NEW TITANS TOMORROW STORYLINE!!! The new art even looks great. I'm sooooo excited for it to be good again.
The Jaime stuff was better in his own book. Eddie running through with his 'This is what your God less science has brought upon you!' - I couldn't stop laughing. Paco hitting on everyone. Tim being his freaky stalker self and knowing all about Jaime and his powers already. They're so going to be OTP ♥
Now did you read any of the previous Teen Titans stuff? Because for a long time it was awesome. The trades are pretty cheap too. I think A Kids Game is only $10 and it's worth every penny. If you want, I'd be happy to let you borrow my Teen Titans trades ( ... )

Yay, you are blamed proudly! :P
It was really good! Yes, the Jaime stuff was better in Blue Beetle. Paco!♥ And Tim! I was all squinting at the page like "Tim? Is that you? You are so weird, guy! Look at you being all shifty." Stalker. Hee.
I've actually read the first two Teen Titans trades, but we've been missing #3 so I stopped. I think I can probably pick up the comic without being too confused. If not, that's why there's wikipedia!
I shall pick up JSA and Batman. I'm excited!! Good thing I can just pick them up off the shelves, read them and put them back, 'cause I'm broke as a joke!
Now when people ask me what I read I won't have to say "Actually, the only thing I read is Blue Beetle, even though nobody else does. But you should! 'Cause it's totally great stuff I promise!"
Because that's oh-so-convincing. :)
And are you asking me for Tim/Kon recs?! BECAUSE THAT I CAN DO. Have you read any? You should! Tim/Kon is a beautiful thing.Yes please!! I used to read Young Justice, but somehow this NEVER ( ... )

Yessss ♥ Did you notice that they have the exact same hair? Also it is a sad, sad day for Jaime when Tim Drake is taller than him.
With Teen Titans, #3 is all about Beast Boy and with the exception of a few cute pages with Bart and Kon, it's boooooring. You should skip it and read #4 because #4 is the Titans Tomorrow storyline and while you probably won't *have* to have read it, it'll definitely make things that much awesomer for you. Plus the Titans Tomorrow storyline is Great x 10 and should be read anyways.
JSA and BATMAN are calling to you. Yes.
Tim/Kon never crossed your mind what?! Oh God. I'm so envious of all the hotness you have in store for you.
First, there's thete1 which I don't know if you've read her since she doesn't really write HP? She has writing quirks that tend to distract me but her porn. LORD HER PORN. You'll melt like butter.
Start with the Connection series - Misdirection, As a Whirlwind, In ( ... )

Yes!! On all counts. Also: SO CUTE!!
Anyhoo...

Oh good, we have #4. But no #5- do I need to read it? 'cause I'll find it if I do- and we have #6.
Hmmm... *contemplates*
No JSA for me I'm afraid, at least for a while. The Trade that comes out today is a hardcover, which means it's wrapped, and I don't want to be a pain in the butt and unwrap it because I won't be able to buy it since I'm going to be in debt in store credit again this week. Also, we don't have all the back issues, since apparently they have been SELLING LIKE HOTCAKES ( ... )

Let's see. #5 is where Kon dies which is :(( and it's pretty spotty quality wise. But if you didn't read Kon's death in Infinite Crisis, it'd probably be good to at least skim it for that. Maybe just read it at the bookstore if your shop doesn't have it. Or make your boss order it ;)
I'd skip #6 and just read the summary scans I put up.
That sucks about JSA. Maybe someone will get it for you for Christmas. Pimp!Conan says it is likely ♥
I don't know how good of a selection of trades you store has, but if you're looking for other things to read at work - Batgirl Year One and Nightwing Year One are two of my absolute favorites.
Even though I need a new fandom like I need another hole in my head.
I didn't know you read in any other fandoms! Which ones?
I hope you get a chance to check some of the Tim/Kon porn out soon. A visual aid.

I can probably find back issues to mostly complete what's in #5. *ponders*

I actually went ahead and read JSA, since my boss looked at me like I was a crazy thing when I said I didn't want to unwrap it and be a pain. We have a resealer for that, apparently.
It was really, really, REALLY good. My woe now is that it's only issues 1-4. The only issues we have in the store are #'s 7-9. So I'm pretty much screwed for 5&6 for the foreseeable future. (and it's really really really good. I am all sad-pants about this!)

Yes, please hurry and do that because you know talking about comics is so very tedious for me ♥ *rolls eyes at you*

Yes, or I remembered that Kon's death comes straight out of Infinite Crisis (literally the same art, script, everything) and I'm sure you have that somewhere in the store.
YOU READ JSA!! AND YOU LIKED IT!! YAYE!! What'd you think of Starman? Isn't he the greatest? It's been a while since I read them so they're getting kind of fuzzy but Cyclone's socks, and Ted's hotass son, and everything!
#5 and 6 are part of the JSA/JLA crossover and you can go straight to #7 without missing anything because Johns picks up right where he left off. Okay so you will be missing all the awesomeness of the JLA people interacting with the JSA people but I remember reading somewhere that DC is going to put that Lightning Saga arc into one trade soon anyways. I put some scans up from the story here and here and ( ... )

You would think so, wouldn't you. You know, I think I need to take over the care and feeding of the DC section of our trades. I mean, we've got Marvel and Indy trades just coming out of our ears, but DC/Wildstorm/Vertigo is about two or three shelves less than the others. Of course, Batman practically has his own shelf or two, so it could be worse.

Yes!! And I managed to find copies of #5&6! One was miss-filed in the backstock, and another came in a pile of newer comics we bought off a guy. So HOORAY, I'm caught up, and it was great. And I'm glad I got to read those two, because they were good!

I thought about you when I was reading JSA this week and the Rhas thing. I hope you are well :)

Yes, I'm picking up two or three comics a week now, thanks to you! :) I'm not complaining, though. Hope you're doing well too, things have been quiet lately. :)
